Sempre più persone ritengono indispensabile pubblicare sui propri account social (soprattutto su Instagram, Facebook e Twitter) le foto dei viaggi. Prima, durante e dopo la vacanza.
HotelsCombined ha così deciso di fare una ricerca per vedere quali sono le mete più instagrammate del 2014. Il metro di misura scelto è stato quello di monitorare le foto che comprendevano l’hashtag #vacation nei commenti dei post pubblicati su Instagram.
